Rewards, Entry for December 18, 2007

Any time another author enjoys my writing and lets me know, I feel a special thrill. This week, Janet Riehl, a fellow member of Women Writing The West and a poet whose work I've admired did that. She let me know she'd included comments on my first two novels, Preserving Cleo and Cleo's Slow Dance on her blog, Both were set on an Oregon family farm. She also linked to my book detail pages on Amazon. Of course, I rushed to read what she had to say. Not only did her interest give me pleasure but caused me to have new questions about the conflict in my story. I may need to look deeper into my own innermost desires.
